Neubuz lies in the valley of the Všeminka stream. The village is about five kilometres north-west of Vizovice and belongs to the Slušovicko microregion.

The first written record of Neubuz dates to 1373. The village was part of the Lukov estate until 1848. Local residents built the chapel in Neubuz in 1905, and the village belongs to the Roman Catholic parish of Slušovice.
