The first written record of the village dates to 1362. The village's landmark is the Chapel of Our Lady, Mediatrix of All Graces, built by local residents themselves in 1951–1952. The farmstead is a cultural monument, and the municipality uses it for demonstrations of traditional crafts and cultural events. The cultural centre has a hall for social events, with a pub in the same building.
